Profiloplasty
The purpose of a profiloplasty consists in the harmonization of the facial outlines, including the augmentation of the cheek structure, correction of the nose shape (Rhinoplasty) and the chin profile.
Cheek augmentation is realised by fat transfer introduced and positioned on the upper cheek area, through small cuts above the upper lip.
Chin augmentation is performed by using implants. Usually they are inserted and positioned through small cuts inside the mouth and below the lower lip. Implants with different filling materials are used (Silicon, Latex,etc.).
Chin liposuction is performed when there is an excess fat in the cervical area.
Surgery:
Anaesthesia depends on the surgery, local or general anaesthesia is used.
Hospital stay: up to two days.
Post operative care:
Swelling and bruising disappear after approximately 10 days.
Results:
The result of Rhinoplasty, chin correction and cheek correction is permanent.
